Representative Nagata discusses the importance of baby tech in society

Opening remarks will be made by Tetsuya Nagata, President of PapaSmile Inc. which organizes the BabyTech® Awards. Representative Nagata talks about the meaning of BabyTech® and its importance.

BabyTech is a term coined by combining the word "baby," meaning a baby, and "technology" such as ICT and IoT. It refers to services and products that reduce the burden of childcare not only for children and their parents, but also for everyone involved in childcare, including relatives and kindergarten teachers, during the period from pregnancy until the child enters elementary school.

He says that he was surprised by the difficulty of raising a child and the hardships faced by those involved, and his desire to help alleviate some of the burden led him to his current activities. the kind of child-rearing they want to do.

Spreading the word about BabyTech will lead to a healthier future for children.

We hope that by utilizing ICT and IoT, we can not only reduce the burden of childcare, but also make childcare safer and more secure, and create a system that allows you to focus on the important things in your life with the time and effort you have freed up. We hope that through this award, more people will become aware of the wonderful items offered by each company.

The winners of the Grand Prize, selected from among many services and products, are delighted to hear their voices.

This year's BabyTech® Awards were selected in nine categories (*Akachanhonpo Award, Special Award, and Community Award are added here). 42 applications were received, and the following services were awarded the Grand Prize.
