HEALTH CARE APP "ASUKEN" FOR A POSITIVE "GESTATIONAL DIABETES" LIFE! |WITH IT ENTHUSIAST MOM OGAMARI'S BABY TECH!

Hello! My name is Ogamari.
I just realized that a little over a year has passed since I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. It seems like a long time ago now...
I have many memories from my pregnancy, but the one that stands out the most is that I got "gestational diabetes!"
In this issue, I would like to introduce an application that helped me during my gestational diabetes.

What is "gestational diabetes" anyway?

Gestational diabetes is a disease in which blood glucose levels are not well controlled during pregnancy, causing abnormal glucose metabolism. It seems that 12% of pregnant women suffer from this disease, so it is not that rare. However, I was shocked when it was discovered, and above all, measuring my own blood glucose every day was painful, troublesome, and difficult....

Visualize "calories" and "carbohydrates!"

If blood sugar levels remain high during pregnancy, the risk of various complications increases. If I took sugar, my blood sugar would spike, but I also had to take in calories for the sake of my baby... I was in a situation where "if you can't stand up for yourself, you can't stand up for us", so I had to be really careful about what I ate.
That's when the app " Asuken " came in handy! I had originally used it for dieting purposes, but it was an excellent tool for easily calculating carbohydrates and calories, and it helped me a lot during my pregnancy.

This way, just enter the amount of food you eat and you'll know how many calories and carbohydrates you're eating!

I could see how much I had consumed against my daily goal, so I was able to adjust my diet accordingly. I have continued to use the diet after childbirth!

This June, Asuken released a course called "Pregnancy and Lactation! Asumama Course" was released, and it was also entered in the BabyTech® Awards 2022!
I gave birth in May, so I haven't actually been able to use it, but if you are currently pregnant or nursing, why not give it a try?

Baby Weight Management

We were also careful to manage the baby's weight, as we were told that when a woman suffers from gestational diabetes, her baby tends to be larger than average.
I managed the baby's weight, which was measured at the checkup, using the "fetal growth curve" function of an app called "Maternal and Child Mo.

I knew the correct weight based on the number of weeks, so I checked every time to see if it was within the normal range.
By the way, my birth weight was about 2,900 grams. I was relieved that it didn't affect me!
I am continuing to use "Maternity Mo" as it has many functions that I can use after the birth.

Exercise anyway! Take a walk!

Exercise was effective for me in lowering my blood sugar. I always went for a walk after eating.
I wondered if there was an app that would allow me to take a walk in some fun way. I looked for one and found " Trima "! This is a "poikatsu" application that allows you to earn points just by moving around. The points you accumulate can be exchanged for cash, points, product vouchers, etc. I walked a lot during my pregnancy, so I was able to accumulate points quickly. I think many people are told by their doctor to walk when they reach the last trimester of pregnancy. If you're going to go to the trouble of walking, it would be nice to get a good deal on your time!

These are the apps that helped me during my bout with gestational diabetes!
Not only gestational diabetes, but there are many other things to keep in mind during pregnancy, such as calorie restriction and lack of exercise. With the help of technology, let's have a vibrant maternity life!

Child of the Week.

We moved! I guess he couldn't get used to his new room, the first day he had the biggest cry ever... I'll show you how to use the baby tech in the new room in the future!
