Discovering Parenting Hacks Project - Cross-reviewed by all - Part 2: 'Kaminashibai'.

Key points of this article
  • Given that two devices are used, the item 'Parents and children can have fun together' gets a perfect score!
  • Reviewers have enthusiastically asked for more and want to read more!
  • Extremely unique app that gives you all sorts of uses and ideas as you use it!

The BabyTech community, which includes parents with children aged 0-6 years and pre-parents and pre-mums who are expecting a baby and want to actively use technology such as gadgets, apps and appliances for parenting, holds a monthly 'Discover Parenting Hacks Project - Cross Review by Everyone'. -" is held.

The project aims to find 'parenting hacks' to help people enjoy parenting, and community members share their experiences of different baby tech services. Each time, members who have actually used one baby tech service post a review of the service on a special website. They then share their impressions and usage in an online roundtable discussion, which is published as a review article on BabyTech.jp.

The second edition of Minna de Cross Review featured Kaminashibai. This is an app based on an old-fashioned picture-story show, characterised by the fact that the reader and listener of the story use different devices connected via bluetooth. Furthermore, the app allows the reader and listener to enjoy the unique storytelling experience that is possible only with an app and not on paper (for details, please refer to the introduction article of this app). The app won the grand prize in the BabyTech® Award Japan 2021 Learning and Play category.

Community members who have actually used this kamanashibai conducted reviews on various aspects of the service, including its enjoyment (numerical ratings were given on a five-point scale from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 5). In addition, Tetsuya Nagata, CEO of Papasmile, Tetsu Saito, community manager, and Daisuke, community member (titles below omitted), participated in an online roundtable discussion (hereafter referred to as 'cross review talk'). This article is a summary of those discussions.

With each having their own device, the 'degree of parent-child fun' gets a perfect score rating!

Degree of enjoyment for parents and children

reviewer review score Comment.
big salmon 5 It was the first time there was a sense of using two devices. The child is also happy to have the device without being interrupted by the parent. Doing the same thing at the same time. This in itself was a gratifying time for me.
Sachi. 5 Two devices were needed and both parents and children had an important role to play together.

NAGATA: Thank you very much for your time today. I would like to start the cross review talk right away. Compared to the first edition, the number of reviews was lower, but this seems to be due to the fact that this application is only compatible with iOS, so Android users were not able to participate.

Now, first of all, all the reviewers gave a perfect score of 5 for the "level of fun for parents and children".
