BTA2023 AWARD-WINNING PRODUCTS ANNOUNCED!

Chainavi Corporation, built-in cleaning water tank! Electric nasal aspirator "Surluno", ideal for snot and congestion care, goes on sale.

From the Editor

Chainavi Corporation, which handles medical equipment products such as the Angel Sounds foetal ultrasound cardiometer and pulse oximeter, has launched an electric nasal aspirator, the Surluno. This product seems to scratch the itch of conventional nasal aspirators, as it has a built-in tank to store water for cleaning the suction tube. It is true that water for cleaning was prepared each time the nasal aspirator was used, so this saves time and trouble, such as accidentally knocking over a cup of water and spilling it, can be avoided.

Let's have a look at the details from the press release.

Electric nasal aspirator with 12 functions and parts, developed from the real-life experiences and ideas of working mothers, goes on sale from Saturday 4 June.

(Head office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Takahiro Soma), which handles medical equipment products such as the Angel Sounds foetal ultrasound cardiometer and pulse oximeter, will start selling an electric nasal aspirator "Surluno" on 4 June 2022 (Saturday), equipped with a cleaning water tank and other functions that mothers and fathers want. The company will start selling the Surluno electric nasal aspirator, which is equipped with a cleaning water tank and other features desired by mothers and fathers.

[What is Surluno?

Surluno is a stationary electric nasal aspirator that can firmly aspirate runny and stuffy noses of babies and infants who cannot blow their own noses, with otolaryngology-level suction pressure* of 80 kPa. It has all the necessary functions and parts, including an unprecedented cleaning water tank, and is ideal for new mothers and fathers as there is no need to buy additional parts.

*Suction pressure of electric nasal aspirators used in otolaryngology is 30~80 kPa.

Home care reduces the need for hospital visits.

A runny or stuffy nose in children can cause a variety of illnesses if left untreated, and frequent nasal aspiration is very important. However, aspirating at an ENT clinic is a time-consuming and infrequent visit. With a nasal aspirator, you can take immediate action at home when your child has difficulty breathing due to a runny nose. Stationary electric nasal aspirators in particular have higher suction pressure than manual types*, and the number of users has been increasing in recent years. In response to this demand, we decided to develop a stationary electric nasal aspirator with otolaryngology-level suction pressure*. We then added 12 functions and parts based on real feedback from mothers and fathers, and developed Surluno, which enables easy nasal aspiration in a single device.

● Three Surluno attractions.

Built-in wash water tank reduces preparation and cleaning and enables smooth suction.

A cleaning water tank has been built into the main unit, in response to the concerns that it is time-consuming to prepare a container of water each time the tube is used to prevent blockages. If a dry tube is used to aspirate nasal fluid, the fluid sticks to the inside of the tube, causing it to become blocked. Therefore, it is necessary to moisten the tube with water before suctioning, and to pass water through the tube from time to time during suctioning to ensure smooth suctioning. With the Surluno with built-in cleaning water tank, there is no need to prepare a separate container for water, so you can start suctioning smoothly without making the child suffer from a runny nose. There is no need to worry about accidentally spilling water during suctioning, so you can concentrate on caring for your child.

Large and small tube holders included for hygiene.

In response to the concerns expressed by users that the silicone tip that is inserted into the nose touches other places when the hand is stopped during use, two types of holders, large and small, are included for hanging the tube over. Not only does this allow for hygienic temporary placement, it also prevents nasal discharge on the silicone tip from getting on the floor or other surfaces. The tube holders have a built-in magnet, which makes them easy to attach and difficult to dislodge, and does not cause unnecessary stress.
