As a guest judge for the BabyTech®︎ Award Japan 2020, we are pleased to announce the participation of Ms. Misako Yasuda, a TV personality who is currently raising her own child, and who also shares her child-rearing life on Instagram.
In addition to judging the products, Ms. Yasuda will also take the stage on a special stage linked to the awards ceremony to be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Childcare Expo 2020. Details of the special stage will be announced at a later date.
Reasons for appointing Misako Yasuda
Yasuda-san gave birth to her second child in February 2020 and has gained a lot of sympathy by communicating her life in the midst of raising two children on social networking sites. We asked Ms Yasuda to judge baby tech products that utilise IT technology to support childcare from the perspective of an active mummy user. And as the world is shifting to new lifestyles and forms of employment, we thought her skills and character would be suitable for the judging, which was conducted strictly from home without being tied down to set hours, and appointed her as a guest judge and speaker at the stage event.

YASUDA Misako / TV personality, President of FOUR O FIVE Co Ltd, 38 years old.
Born in 1982 in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, she made her debut at the age of 20 when she was chosen as Miss Magazine, and from 2004 became a semi-regular on TBS's "Akko ni Omakase! At the age of 29, she appeared as an actress in the NHK TV series Carnation, and ran the Nagoya Women's Marathon that same year, clocking 3 h 44 min 56 sec and achieving a sub-4. Married at 31, had her first son at 35, and gave birth to her second son in February this year. She has qualified as a nutrition education instructor and healthy eating coordinator and started nutrition education activities. In May this year, she launched FOUR O FIVE, a brand dealing with products made by artisans to enrich everyday life.
