The "process of deciding on a menu from what's in the fridge, creating the recipe ourselves, and cooking the food" takes power. We put in our cooking skills and knowledge about food, make arrangements, and finally create our own original recipes. This process is very similar to the process of an engineer like me creating a program, and I can enjoy the fun of deciding on things and creating a product.
