This time, I would like to introduce an application called CODMON, which has been introduced at my daughter's daycare center. Many of you may be familiar with this app!

Codomon is a "business support tool for childcare and educational facilities" and is one of the ICT systems introduced at various childcare and educational facilities, using PC and smartphone applications to help teachers and childcare workers reduce workload and improve efficiency.
A major advantage of Codomon is that it facilitates communication between daycare centers and parents. Contacts that were previously handwritten or exchanged by phone can now be made with a single application provided by Codomon!
To use Codomon, you will need a unique ID and password shared with you by the facility.
Please note that simply downloading the application is not enough to use it!

Daily contact is also easy with the app!
This is a screen shot of the actual contact list I sent. I input my mood, bowel movements, and other information I want to convey, and send it every morning.
I am ashamed to admit that I am such an analog brushless person that I did not even write anything on the pregnancy page of my mother-child handbook... It is a hassle to open a notebook on my desk, prepare a pen.... If it were a handwritten notebook, I would be in a hurry every morning to write in a messy handwriting.... On the other hand, if it is an app, I can input data quickly and easily with just one phone, so even I can continue to do it every day!
No need to call in sick every time you need to call in sick, it's all done at Codomon.
I appreciate that I don't have to say, "I'm sorry to bother you during your busy morning hours..."
The park can also check the confirmation on Codomon, so there is no need to worry about "Did they see it...?
In addition to daily contact sheets and sick call notifications, there is also a system that allows you to send messages at any time, so feel free to send a small message such as, "I forgot something, please leave it here! I had an image of the inside of a daycare center as a closed black box, so I felt it was a great source of reassurance to be able to see what is going on in the daycare center.
Some preschools also send photos of the situation when the child is injured, and the condition of the wound and its treatment. This is more reassuring than receiving a verbal report!
By the way, you can invite other family members besides mom and dad to this codomon!

Digital and anytime, anywhere!
Codomon has a feature called "Resource Room". At my daughter's daycare center, it stores the formats for letters, menu charts, and various procedures.
With paper, it is difficult to keep track of lost or soiled documents, and it is necessary to get a copy for each procedure, but with digital, you can check it whenever and wherever you need it.
You can also check the menu list for school lunches, so it is very convenient to refer to it when thinking of menus for meals at home or when shopping at the supermarket.

I have not used it yet, but it seems that you can also purchase photos. Also, for facilities that have a bus service, it seems that you can view bus location information!
Not only are the parents benefiting from the system, but the staff also said that Codomon has made their work more efficient. I wish all day-care facilities would adopt this system...!
