Editor: Thank you very much. Being overseas, do you feel that you developed the game online?
Kozlov: Yes, that's right. We have a team of nine people, but only one other Japanese person, myself, and the rest are foreign nationals. Furthermore, six of the nine of us live abroad.
Editor: So you can order and do everything on the web, so that's why borders don't matter anymore.
Kozlov: It's not a problem at all. I think the strength of our company is that we have combined technology with the best picture books we have ever produced. Not only can the customer try out the book online, but when the book is actually printed and bound after the customer has purchased it, our system automatically creates a print file with different content for each individual book. This is then automatically transferred to the printing company, where it is printed and bound at the printing company's plant, packed and delivered to you. So, even though everything is made to order, the fact that the entire production process is automated is a great advantage. This is the strength of our development team.
Editor: It's just like baby tech. ......!
Kozlov: It really is tech. I think picture books in Japan have an image of being far away from tech, but our company makes picture books that are unique to tech. I often think, personally, that tech is the magic of our time.

Kozlov: The feedback that was shared on Twitter was that a couple of mums & mums bought our products and commented that there had never been a book that could bring out the mums & mums ....... Ah, so the people we wanted to reach got it right! That's how we felt. We also received a comment saying that they appreciated the fact that they could enter messages from their children on the first page of the picture book, and that they were very moved by the fact that they could leave words in the picture book that they couldn't normally tell their children.
