AsoBoys, a chatting app for pregnant, expecting and parenting women

From the Editor

Talking and Clearing", a chatting app exclusively for women who are expecting, pregnant or raising children, has been released. The release refers to it as "femtech", but of course it is also a service that falls into the category of baby tech.
What kind of service is it that allows women to talk to the most suitable person based on their various statuses and child-rearing situations during pregnancy and child-rearing? Let's have a look at the press release.

On August 19th, we released the Femtech mobile app "Talk and Feel Clear" to share the feelings of women who are pregnant, expecting and raising children.

AsoBoys K.K. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Ryohei Tanaka) has launched a chatting app "Talk and Feel Clear" on the App Store from August 19, 2021, exclusively for women who are expecting, pregnant or raising children.

"Based on your situation (pregnant, single parent, living in the countryside, living with mother-in-law, etc.) and your childcare situation (age, number of children, use of childcare services, etc.), we recommend the best people to chat with, and allow you to chat with them. It is a mobile app that recommends the best people to chat with and allows you to chat via chat or video call.

Sharing of feelings and empathy

There are several services for mothers, such as free childcare consultations run by public institutions and mommy friend matching apps, but none of them satisfy the users.
We thought that in many cases, it is not because they need a solution to their problems or knowledge to solve them, but because they want to share their feelings of anxiety and enjoyment about raising their children.

We believe that having a supportive group of mothers who can relate to what you are going through, and acknowledge the difficulties of raising a child, is much more helpful to women than a bunch of pretend friends.

Femtech

The term "femtech" is derived from the term "feminine", which refers to products and services that use technology to solve problems specific to women, such as sanitary products, but we believe it can also include services that reduce the burden imposed on women by society.

"It is a service that allows women to share their concerns and frustrations with others in a similar situation.

For your safety and peace of mind

We want you to feel comfortable chatting with us, so we take safety very seriously. We limit our users to women who are expecting, pregnant or parenting, and we ask for an image of your ID to confirm your gender. We will only use your ID to confirm your identity and will not keep it.

We have developed community and reporting guidelines to help prevent problems between users and to provide a better environment.

We do not allow you to exchange contact details directly, as this can lead to a lack of openness and dependence if the connection between certain users becomes too close, and you will need to request and accept to talk to the same person.
