A day of learning for the Coronation summer holidays from anywhere in the country.
(Shinagawa, Tokyo / President and CEO: Hiroaki Miyahara) will hold a participatory online event for parents and children, Gakken KidsFest 2021, on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
In conjunction with the event, a special website (https://gakken.jp/kidsfes/ ) has been opened. The event will be delivered on Sunday 22 August between 13:00 and 16:00 and is free of charge for those who register their GakkenID and apply in advance. In addition, Gakken Group's official Twitter account @Gakken_official will also be running a campaign today where 10 lucky winners will be selected by lottery to win a 3000 yen Amazon gift certificate from those who register by Wednesday, August 11.
Due to the effects of the new coronavirus, it is expected that children will have limited opportunities to go out and participate in events during this summer holiday. Against this backdrop, the Gakken Group is launching Gakken KidsFest 2021, an online event for children from infancy to primary school age and their parents, which they can participate in from the comfort of their own homes. "Under the concept of "Learning while playing! is the concept behind the event, which offers six learning activities for parents and children to enjoy together while gaining new knowledge during the summer holidays.
The content will include "Denjiro's Home Experiments" by science producer Denjiro Yonemura and "Sakana-kun's Fish Expedition" by Sakana-kun, Honorary Doctor and Visiting Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. There will also be a "Nutrition Education Lecture" by vegetable sommelier Sumio Masuda, a "Let's Online Company Tour" to sneak into the TOMY head office, a "Money Class" by AXA Life Insurance to learn about the meaning of money, and a "Tell Me!
