Editor: Congratulations on winning the "CES2021 Innovation Awards". Can you give us an overview of the award-winning product "ainenne"?

Hattori: We haven't been able to produce a product of a quality that can withstand being photographed for use in the media yet. ...... We won't be able to produce a product-level product until the end of January or the middle of February, so we're moving forward with development in a rush.

The concept of "ainenne" is a device that helps babies fall asleep. Humans have a mechanism called an "internal clock" that keeps a rhythm of approximately one day. This cycle is generally a little longer than 24 hours, and if left unchecked, the time we wake up and go to bed will gradually slip. In order to prevent this from happening, humans have a mechanism to reset their internal clock by exposing themselves to the morning sun. Taking a hint from this "resetting of the body clock by the morning sun", we came up with the idea of installing a function to wake babies up with LED light that imitates sunlight, and developed "ainenne".
