The service aims to reduce the workload of childcare providers and improve the quality of childcare while further accelerating digital transformation (DX) of childcare-related operations.

With the utilization rate of daycare centers for 1-2 year olds exceeding 50%*2 due to the increase in the percentage of women in the workforce and the increase in dual-earner households, daycare facilities play an important role as social infrastructure for those who raise children while working.
The ratio of effective job offers for child care workers nationwide is approximately 3.9 times, which is more than twice the average for all jobs (approximately 1.6 times)*3. In addition, due to reasons such as long working hours and heavy workload, there are approximately 1 million "latent child care workers" who are not working as child care workers even though they have child care worker qualifications, accounting for approximately 60%*4 of all qualified child care workers.
The duties of childcare workers are extremely diverse, ranging from managing children's arrival and departure from school and watching over them during naptime (nap time), preparing daycare diaries and plans, preparing documents to be submitted to parents and local authorities, and managing shifts for childcare workers. In addition, it has been pointed out that the large number of documents that childcare workers must prepare and the lack of ICT in peripheral and auxiliary tasks of childcare are factors that keep them busy*5.
The "Lukumi" series has enhanced data linkage, automatically consolidating data such as attendance, temperature, sleep, meals, and bowel movements, as well as photos taken with Lukumi Photo, and automatically posting the data to forms and contact sheets. This will enable DX (digital transformation) of childcare-related operations, significantly reducing workloads and creating more time and relaxation for caregivers.
The time created by the new system allows caregivers to spend more time with their children, which is important for them, and by providing a function for creating photo documentation, it creates an environment in which caregivers can easily share their observations of children's growth with other caregivers, thereby increasing communication and making them feel more fulfilled and improving the quality of care. This will also contribute to the creation of motivation among childcare workers and the improvement of the quality of childcare services.
