AI provides information on child-raising in Saitama City
Saitama City has begun distributing "Misono Child-Raising Style Bambi Bambi," a free application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically collect information on local events. The application provides information on child-rearing and other topics to residents of the Misono area (Midori to Iwatsuki wards of the city), which is positioned as a model urban development area.
AI automatically collects information on events held at commercial facilities and community centers in the city and beyond, and distributes it via the application. The app also provides information on nearby medical facilities and disaster prevention.
That's called a crawler, not an AI...that...thing.

We will launch the nation's first information delivery service utilizing artificial intelligence (AI: we have developed our own crawling engine*) for households raising children in the Misono area. The crawl engine will extract information on child-rearing events held at private commercial facilities and public facilities in neighboring areas familiar to households raising children, and provide a service that delivers the latest information every evening, as well as information on medical institutions, all in a single application.

Can an AI that does not employ machine learning algorithms be called an AI? Although I feel uncomfortable that a crawler is not an AI, I can see the spirit of delivering effective information to the child-rearing generation to create a better city. Looking forward to future developments!
