Trim Corporation (Yokohama, Japan; President: Yusuke Hasegawa; hereinafter referred to as Trim) will start selling an outdoor installation type baby care room "mamaro solana™️" from July 2024.
Pre-orders for the first production run will be accepted starting Monday, April 15, 2024.
Development was initiated in response to the concerns of the facility and the hardships of the child-rearing generation.
The indoor baby care room "mamaro™️", which has surpassed 640 units installed, is being installed mainly in commercial and public facilities, and has recently been installed in a wide range of facilities, including train stations, parks, zoos, aquariums, and professional soccer and baseball stadiums. On the other hand, some facilities with limited space in their indoor facilities have voiced their wish that they could have installed the system outdoors, while families raising children have voiced their concerns about the need to use the system in outdoor facilities such as parks, where they have to return to the parking lot to breastfeed or change diapers while hiding the baby with a cape to avoid being seen by others. They also said, "I can't calmly take care of my baby when I am playing with my child in an outdoor facility such as a park.
In response to such requests, Trim has jointly developed the system by combining the knowledge and know-how gained through the development and installation of "mamaro™️" with the outdoor unit technology of Hamamatsu Hamamatsu, Inc. After about two years of development and demonstration testing, we will begin accepting reservations for sales on April 15, 2024 (Monday).
Demonstration test draws much anticipation from many families
Starting with the "Yokohama Frühlings Fest 2023" held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from April to May 2023, the demonstration experiment was held at the RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2023 (Ishikari and Otaru, Hokkaido) in August 2023 and at Negishi Forest Park (Naka-ku, Yokohama) in October and November 2023. After the demonstration test at Negishi Forest Park (Naka-ku, Yokohama) in October and November 2023, we are currently conducting a long-term demonstration test at Roadside Station Fruit Tree Park Ashigakubo in cooperation with Yokoze-cho, Saitama Prefecture, as a project adopted by Yokorabo, a public-private partnership platform in Yokoze-cho. The experiment is scheduled to run from Thursday, December 14, 2023 to the end of December 2024. The project has received a very high level of satisfaction from users at all of the installation sites, and user surveys have indicated that they expect the system to be installed in their living areas and outside their homes, leading to the commercialization of this product.
Trim aims to provide a better child-rearing environment and to deliver peace of mind and comfort with the "mamaro™️" series of baby care rooms.
mamaro solana" product features
To create a comfortable and calm baby care environment, the mamaro sofa™️, developed and marketed by Trim, is installed in a fully private, lockable unit by Hamanetz.
The exterior design follows the design of "mamaro™️", which has the top market share as an installation type baby care room, and has a friendly rounded design, and is unified with a wood grain tone like "mamaro™️" so that anyone can easily use it in a unisex environment.
The "mamaro sofa_™️" installed in the room is a nursing sofa whose backrest transforms into a crib. When the child is placed in the crib, it also has a function that allows the child to be weighed and measured, making it possible to breastfeed, change diapers, and weigh the child all in one unit.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and can be used safely throughout the year. In addition, space has been secured for a baby stroller to be placed inside the room. Casters are provided on the lower part of the unit, allowing for easy movement within the facility, and also for changing the layout of the facility.
The "mamaro sofa_™️" will also be available as a stand-alone product at the same time. It will contribute to space saving when installing in existing spaces or renovating baby care rooms.

The town of Ashigakubo has been the first in Japan to install mamaro solana at "Roadside Station Fruit Tree Park Ashigakubo" as a demonstration experiment, based on a proposal from Yokorabo, a public-private partnership platform operated by the town. Since its installation, mamaro solana has actually received many compliments from users. We hope that the demonstration experiment in our town will lead to the expansion of an environment conducive to child-rearing!
