BTA2023 AWARD-WINNING PRODUCTS ANNOUNCED!

grow&partners to Hold "Tsukiiku," a New Temporary Childcare Event to Drive a Lunar Roving Vehicle and Learn about the Moon and Space! A brand-new temporary childcare program "Tsukiiku" will be held.

- Below is the content from the press release--

The concept is to "immerse yourself in what you love, play a lot, and learn in a fun way. Our unprecedented childcare program, which combines temporary childcare and learning, supports children's growth and creates alone time for parents.

(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Keiko Kowaki), operator of the temporary childcare search and reservation service "Asuiku," has developed a special childcare program, "Asuiku," that values children's "likes" while developing five important early childhood skills: seeing, listening, speaking, thinking, and acting. The program will be held once a month from January to March 2023 for children from 2 years old to preschool age.
During their time at the nursery school, children will learn about the moon and space through fun activities such as piloting the lunar rover "YAOKI" with their own hands. Parents can enjoy their first alone time in a while during this program, which is a great opportunity for both parents and children.

What is Tsukiiku?

This is a special childcare event that combines temporary childcare with learning activities to help your child grow and learn.
In a normal temporary childcare program, a nursery teacher takes care of your child for a few hours, but in this program, a special program is held during the daycare to allow your child to learn about the moon and the universe while playing. This is an unprecedented temporary childcare program that combines childcare and education.

(Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shinichiro Nakajima), developer of the lunar rover YAOKI, which won the Tokyo Metropolitan Venture Technology Grand Prize in the fall of 2022, sponsored by grow&partners, Inc. which operates the temporary childcare search and reservation service "Asuiku" available on line, and Daimon Co. (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shinichiro Nakajima), Kobe Digital Lab Inc. (Head Office: Kobe-shi, Hyogo; Representative Director: Ichiro Nagayoshi; hereinafter "Kobe Digital Lab"), and MKYC (Head Office: Minami-ku, Fukuoka; Representative Director: Hiroko Miyazaki; hereinafter "MKYC"), a joint venture that has been involved in early childhood education for over 20 years, have collaborated to create the content. (Head office: Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka; President: Hiroko Miyazaki; hereinafter "MKYC"), which has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education.

DURING THE THREE-HOUR PROGRAM, CHILDREN WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PILOT THE YAOKI, WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO BE LAUNCHED TO THE MOON IN THE NEAR FUTURE, AND DRIVE IT TO THE MOON AS AN EXPLORER.

The inside of the nursery is also decorated to resemble outer space, and children can experience eating in space during lunch time.

WHAT IS "YAOKI"?

This ultra-compact, ultra-lightweight & high-strength lunar rover developed by Daimon Corporation is scheduled to be launched to the Moon in 2023 as a private-sector lunar exploration. With its ability to withstand strong impacts, it is expected to make a significant contribution to future lunar surface development. In the fall of 2022, it received the Tokyo Metropolitan Venture Technology Grand Prize for "innovative and promising products, technologies, and services.

The palm-sized YAOKI weighs only 498 grams and can be easily and funly controlled by children using a remote control. This time, two YAOKI will appear in "Tsukiiku. We hope that children will feel the spirit of challenge to get up and try again and again, no matter how many times they fall down, while actually operating the cute and sturdy YAOKI, which is named after the phrase "fall down seven times, get up eight times.

Non-Cognitive Skills Improvement Program" nurtured by Moon x Jibun x Buddy

FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS, MKYC HAS BEEN PROVIDING ORIGINAL PROGRAMS BASED ON MONTESSORI AND STEINER EDUCATION METHODS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON-COGNITIVE SKILLS, AND HAS BEEN NURTURING THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD WHILE MAKING THE MOST OF THE CHILD'S PERSONALITY THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. DAIMON CORPORATION'S KNOWLEDGE OF THE MOON AND SPACE AND KOBE DIGITAL LAB'S EXPERIENCE IN IMPLEMENTING PROGRAMS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE BEEN UTILIZED TO CREATE "TSUKIIKU," A "NON-COGNITIVE ABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM" NURTURED BY THE MOON, ONESELF, AND FRIENDS. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE NON-COGNITIVE SKILLS THROUGH "MOON X JIBUN X BUDDY".

Tsukiiku" focuses on the five skills that we want to nurture in young children: seeing, hearing, speaking, thinking, and acting. Some activities can be done alone, while others can be done with friends of the same age, communicating and working together.

What is ASUKU?

Asuiku, a temporary childcare search and reservation service operated by grow&partners Inc. that can be used via smartphone and LINE, is a system that allows users to search for available temporary childcare services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in real time, make reservations, and complete payment in one minute.

All communication with childcare facilities and contact sheets can also be used from LINE, so even busy childcare providers can easily use the system in their spare time. This system makes the time-consuming process of applying for temporary childcare paperless, cashless, and phone-free, and has also won the 16th Kids Design Award and the Baby Tech Awards Special Award in 2022.

We are expanding our business with the aim of creating a society where anyone can use safe and secure temporary childcare services at any time.

Background of the development of Tsukiiku - Parental guilt felt about childcare.

SINCE LAUNCHING ITS SERVICE ON LINE IN MAY 2021, ASUKU HAS BEEN ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN USER INTERVIEWS WITH PARENTS. IN THE PROCESS, IT HAS BECOME CLEAR THAT A LARGE NUMBER OF PARENTS, ESPECIALLY MOTHERS, FEEL GUILTY WHEN LEAVING THEIR CHILDREN WITH US.

------
Survey period: January 2022
Target: Mothers raising children living nationwide
Survey method: Online survey Form responses:
Number of respondents: 112
- ------

When mothers who answered that they felt guilty were asked to choose one reason (multiple choice), the top response was "I feel sorry for leaving my child with me for my own things outside of work.
Other reasons given included "I think children are happier when they are with their parents" and "I was told by my surroundings and family that mothers or family members should take care of the children when they are young.

On the other hand, when the respondents who answered that they used to feel guilty but do not feel guilty now were asked to choose the trigger (multiple choice), the top answer was "started attending daycare. It was found that as they began to use the day-care center regularly and their parents became accustomed to childcare, it became a major opportunity for them to feel less guilty about leaving their children with the day-care center itself.

This was followed by "because leaving the child with a caregiver reduced my own stress" and "because the child seemed to be enjoying the caregiver's time with me," which are the benefits of actually using temporary childcare. Another response was, "Because the parent-child relationship has improved as a result of being away from the child.

No Guilt at "Child-Friendly Temporary Childcare"

Based on the results of these surveys, ASUKUIKU has been conducting special temporary childcare events using children's "likes" as a gateway to enhance the temporary childcare experience for parents and children, thereby reducing feelings of guilt and leading to increased use of temporary childcare services.

(Head office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Akiyoshi Yamamura) and OWLedge Corporation (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaru Sasaki) will hold "Metoiku" (), a series of 10 events in the summer of 2022, during which children can enjoy playing and learning with Tokyo Metro-approved content during temporary daycare. ( https://parent.asuiku.net/metoiku), held a total of 10 times.

In a survey of parents after using the program, 100% of parents were satisfied with the program and 0% felt guilty about their children's behavior. I was happy to see the smiles on the children's faces when they said, "That was fun!", "I was able to have lunch alone for the first time since the birth of my child", and "This is an unprecedented program for parents and children.

It is Asuikuku's vision that the combination of children being absorbed in enjoying their time in childcare and parents being able to relax and spend time alone will enrich the time between parents and children after reuniting.

IN ADDITION TO THE SPECIAL EXPERIENCE OF ACTUALLY PILOTING THE LUNAR ROVER "YAOKI," WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO BE LAUNCHED TO THE MOON IN THE NEAR FUTURE, "TSUKIIKU" IS A PROGRAM IN WHICH CHILDREN CAN LEARN ABOUT SPACE THROUGH PLAY BY EXPERTS WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN EDUCATION TO IMPROVE THE NON-COGNITIVE SKILLS OF YOUNG CHILDREN, AND NATURALLY NURTURE THEIR ABILITY TO SEE, HEAR, SPEAK, THINK, AND ACT. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO NATURALLY NURTURE CHILDREN'S ABILITY TO SEE, HEAR, SPEAK, THINK, AND ACT WHILE PLAYING AND LEARNING ABOUT SPACE.
