On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the Odawara Innovation Lab in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), co-hosted by EY Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, and supported by Odawara City, Odakyu Electric Railway Co. Odawara - I want to know! I want you to know! New Child Care" was held in cooperation with Odawara City, Odakyu Electric Railway Co.

Panel discussion

At the beginning of the session, Mr. Kawamura, Director of the Economic and Social Policy Office of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Teruhiko Moriya, Mayor of Odawara City, made a speech and talked about their expectations for the demonstration project.
Then, the secretariat introduced the outline of the demonstration survey in Odawara City and the four demonstration projects. This was followed by a panel discussion in which the panellists, Mr. Yudai Chiba, Mr. Yuma Imi and Ms. Kayo Yamamoto, discussed the background to the demand for BabyTech in society, the measures to be taken to promote BabyTech in society, and the expectations of the government and local governments.

BabyTech Product Exhibition

This was followed by an exhibition of BabyTech products and services at the Odawara Innovation Lab.
Over 50 members of the public took part in the event and were able to experience the products and services first hand. Participants commented that this was the first time they had heard of such a service and that they would definitely like to use it, and that they would like to take part in the demonstration experiment, and were seen registering for the demonstration project.
