Adoption of CoDMON, a childcare operations support SaaS that won the BabyTech Award Japan 2019 Excellence Award in the Facility Management category, by local governments is growing.
According to Codomon, 15 municipalities have already introduced the system, and 10 municipalities are currently conducting demonstration experiments, including undisclosed numbers, making Codomon the No. 1 company in terms of the number of municipalities that have introduced the system and the No. 1 company in terms of the number of contracted municipalities (according to Tokyo Shoko Research Inc. as of January 2020). The company will continue to promote ICT in childcare and strive to help improve the environment surrounding children.
Adoption by local governments means introduction to public childcare facilities. Many childcare ICT systems have been spreading mainly to private preschools, but now they will be introduced to public facilities in addition to private preschools. It can be said that efforts to reduce the burden on childcare workers, reform work styles, and provide better childcare are now in full swing.
