outline

While it is recommended that nursery school staff watch over the child's nap every five minutes, Bebisapo notifies the child of the five-minute cycle with light and melody.

If the infant is sleeping well, it will usually notify you in a 5-minute cycle, and if the infant's face is obscured, such as by lying on its back, it will immediately notify you. The meditative lamp display blends in comfortably with the surroundings while preventing accidental forgetting and reducing the psychological burden on the nursery teacher.

Development Process

It was developed in collaboration with Bic Momma Co., Ltd. which operates the daycare center "Bic Momma Land" in Sendai City and Tokyo. The system has been installed in Bic Mama Land and incorporates feedback from nursery staff who actually use the system. The system was developed based on feedback from nursery staff who wanted a support system with a function to check the movement of the child during nap time using a camera and notify the nursery staff.

BabyTech Editor's Comment

The purpose of this service is to ease the burden on childcare providers by providing a safer noon monitoring environment with live camera monitoring, a staple of baby tech safety management.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the most important thing to avoid in the field of infant care. In order to prevent SIDS, we have created a system to protect the safety of infants, such as by quickly raising an alert when an infant's face is no longer visible.

What's noteworthy is that the service has been developed in an environment that allows for dock-hooking, through the joint development of Tripod Works, the company that makes the product, and Bic Mom Land, which operates daycare centers in Sendai City and Tokyo. How will you sublimate the know-how you have gained in the field of childcare to develop new services and expand functions? I have high hopes for future developments.
