- Convenience of completing everything from application to payment only with a smartphone application
- Peace of mind that all registered sitters are qualified nursery school teachers and nurses.
- I realized the importance of spending time "only as a couple" once in a while. ......
Flow of using "Kizuna Sitter
Upon request from the Babytech editorial team, we first downloaded the Kizuna Sitter app. After completing a simple user registration, the screening process was completed within 24 hours and we were able to use the service.
The top screen of the app looks like this. You can find a sitter right away!
Once you have selected the sitter you would like to request, the request process begins.
I received an "estimate" right away.
At Kizuna Sitter, the fee based on the time used is clearly indicated from the request stage. For this first request, a one-hour interview was required. This is in addition to the two hours of sitting time requested.
The request was completed in no time!
As expected, the request process is very smooth, as it can be completed on a smartphone. By the way, if it is difficult to select a sitter on the app or you cannot find a sitter that meets your desired conditions, please press the "Find a sitter" button in the center of the app. A call will be connected to an operator, who will find a sitter for you.
The "sitter" arrives.
Finally, the day of the request. The sitter arrived exactly at 11:00 a.m. as promised.
Ms. Yanaginuma, the sitter, arrives!
They wash their hands first to avoid bringing in germs from outside.
Interviews begin immediately.
Fill out the necessary information on the forms you received.
A "meeting" at Kizuna Sitter is a "meeting" held only at the first time of using a sitter to confirm each family's childcare policy, allergies, and contact information in case of emergency. Although the information is registered in the application in advance, detailed information and points requiring special attention are also reiterated in the face-to-face meeting. In addition to the information written on the forms brought by the sitter, we also verbally inform them of such things as where to place the "thermometer" and "diapers".
After all, a qualified person is not as secure as you think!
After the interview, Ms. Yanaginuma immediately began taking care of her daughter (i.e., sitting), and in between, we asked her about her profile and her work at Kizuna Sitter.
At first, my daughter was like "mmmm~!" ......
I missed Mr. Yanaginuma very quickly.
Ms. Yanaginuma, a childcare worker, originally worked at an infant care center (a welfare facility for infants aged 0-3 who cannot be cared for at home) for five years, and then at a ward nursery school in Tokyo for three years. After that, she worked at a company while working as a kizuna sitter on weekday evenings and weekends. She started working as a kizuna sitter because she could make use of her childcare qualification, work at convenient hours, and most importantly, she loves working with babies.
Clients who have requested sitters have ranged from office workers to telecommuters, and many of the requests have been for 3-4 hours, such as to concentrate on work, watch a movie, refresh, get some sleep for postpartum recovery, or go shopping.
It was 12:00 and time for lunch. Even my daughter, who looked reluctant, ......
In Mr. Yanaginuma's hands: ......
To this smile!
While Mr. Yanaginuma was taking care of our daughter, I was writing a manuscript and my wife was making baby food. Incidentally, Mr. Yanaginuma says that if the sitter is for three to four hours, he will finish using the restroom before the visit. I was impressed by her professional words, "I don't want to take my eyes off my daughter for even a moment while I'm sitting her. ......
We were also able to consult on other childcare issues such as, "Isn't my daughter eating a little too much? ......" from the perspective of a childcare professional. In addition, they also respond to requests for "bathing" of newborns.
Outdoor sitting available.
After lunch, we moved to the park. The plan was to have Mr. Yanaginuma and his daughter play at the park while my wife and I had lunch at a "baby-friendly restaurant.
Two people playing ball in a park
My wife and I went on our first lunch date (?) after the birth of our child. We went on our first lunch date (?) after the birth.
Normally, with children in tow, it is not possible to have a calm conversation, but on this day, we were able to take our time. The topic of conversation naturally became moody, and my wife seemed to enjoy it as well. We also heard later that Mr. Yanaginuma and his daughter moved from the park to a nearby shopping mall to spend the rest of the day because the wind was getting stronger.
In no time at all, the three hours were over and everyone took a commemorative photo at the end.
Complete and speedy after-sales care
After the babysitting was completed, Ms. Yanaginuma sent us a report (report) of the sitting on the same day. Once you confirm its contents, you can complete the payment procedure at the same time.
Sitting Reports" and "Payment Requests" sent to your phone app
The ability to complete communication via a smartphone app is not only convenient for the parents, but also makes it easier for the sitters to respond to the needs of the parents. In fact, the response time from the time we contacted them was very quick.
<After the interview
My wife, who was reluctant to try babysitting at first, seemed to like it after the experience. After the experience, she seemed to like it very much. (Incidentally, the reason why my wife did not like the babysitting experience was that she had to clean up the room, but Ms. Yanaginuma told her that there was no need to clean up the room and she could leave her things where they were as usual. (Incidentally, the reason for my wife's dislike was that she had to clean up her room.)
The "temporary childcare" services provided by local governments are not user-friendly, and there are concerns about the quality of unqualified sitters in low-cost sitter services, so there is a great need for "Kizuna Sitter," which is limited to qualified sitters. Furthermore, since everything from reservation to payment and reporting after the service is completed on a smartphone, we felt that this service is very easy to use for today's "child-rearing generation" who do not want to leave their smartphones at home.
