woobo, a smart plush toy that expresses emotions, snuggles up to toddlers and teaches them about lifestyle #CES2019

woobo is a smart plush toy that won the 2019 Babytech Award: play&learn category. It has a variety of sensors in its body, microphones in its ears, and an LCD monitor on its face, and it responds to physical input such as touching, stroking, and tapping, as well as voice responses when spoken to by the child. There are two unique features. The first is that Wobo is programmed with emotions and will express those emotions as it interacts with the child. The second is that woobo can encourage children to eat, brush their teeth, go to bed, etc., and help them learn daily habits by working with them.

He wants Wobo to be a person who tickles children's curiosity.

This time, it was still a demo unit, so it could only express three types of emotions (normal, happy, and sad), but they said they'd be updating it in the future, and that they were opening it up to third parties so that they could install educational applications in addition to lifestyle ones in a store format.

Although it still feels like a work in progress, it has already been successfully deployed on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, which shows that there are high expectations.
