'SMART TATTOO' BEING DEVELOPED BY HARVARD AND MIT

There seems to be a smart tattoo approach to the "problem of how to get people to wear smart devices" in IoT used in medicine and nursing care. This is interesting.

Announcing a "smart tattoo" that changes color based on your health. Could it solve the power and connectivity problems of health trackers?

It has been a long time since the emergence of wearable devices that monitor the health of the human body, and smart bands are one of the most readily available devices. However, most of them need to be connected to the network at some point during use and have battery life issues.

If the range of information that can be detected by bio-sensitive ink (and related technologies) expands in the future, it could change the nature of wearable devices with healthcare functions. If the range of information that can be detected by bio-sensitive ink (and related technologies) expands in the future, it could change the nature of wearable devices with healthcare functions.

The point of this quote is that the act of wearing a device is costly. Not only the cost of maintaining the device, but also the act of wearing the device is expensive. There are probably a lot of issues about how to learn about changes in physical condition, but if the technology for bio-sensitive ink develops, it could become a killer content. Of course, there is the issue of price, so it will probably be used in limited medical fields first. I am looking forward to it.
