ReliefBand, a smartwatch that helps you when you're feeling sick

2If you're feeling under the weather or nauseous, the ReliefBand can help relieve those symptoms. All you have to do is wear the watch-shaped device. The main benefit is that it doesn't require any medication. There is no smartphone app.

How is that possible?

Reliefband simply sends gentle radio waves from the wrist to the median nerve to the brain. This radio wave is equivalent to sending a signal to the place in the brain that controls nausea, and thus relieves the symptoms. In the case of stomach pain, the brain sends signals to the stomach to return it to normal function via the vagus nerve. The point is that the signal is sent from the wrist to make the brain do its job. The pace of this process seems to be adjustable in five steps.

It's a baby-tech application, so it's marketed to pregnant women, but it's also useful for car sickness, seasickness, overplaying VR games, amusement parks, etc. I'm not a big fan of coffee cups, and I get sick in 3.34 seconds. I have a weakness for horizontal rotation. If I can endure a cup of coffee, I can say that ReliefBand is the real thing (lol).

User Reviews

THE PRICE IS US $94.99. I SEE A LOT OF 99-CENT PRODUCTS, BUT I WONDER IF THEY MAKE IT 99 CENTS WITH THE ICHIKUPPA THEORY IN JAPAN.... I DON'T THINK IT'S BECAUSE I'M JAPANESE.

The reviews on Amazon.com are also excellent.

I think it's going to be very popular if it's marketed in Japan too!
