The first awards to recognize baby tech products in Japan!
Baby tech is a term for products and services that use IoT and ICT technologies to make childcare safer, more secure, and more efficient, and has been expanding in Europe and the U.S. in recent years.
In Japan, the use of this technology has begun in childcare facilities, where its usefulness in managing children, employees, and health conditions has been recognized, and interest in this field is expected to increase in the future.
PapaSmile Inc., operator of BabyTech.jp, Japan's only media specializing in baby tech, will host BabyTech Award Japan 2019 (Baby Tech Award Japan 2019), the first event in Japan to honor domestically produced baby tech products and services. The event aims to raise awareness of this field, expand the market, and increase the number of new players entering the market.
This award is to introduce the market of BabyTech and to showcase outstanding products!
We will hold this event to promote BabyTech to all people involved in childcare, including organizations and companies that develop and provide ICT services and products for childcare, as well as to the parents, caregivers, and childcare providers who use such services and products.
We hope that the widespread use of BabyTech will reduce the mental and physical burden on those who watch over children, further ensure safety and security through the use of people and systems, and create an environment in which more hands-on care can be given where necessary, so that children can grow up in a better environment.
Target products and services include not only children and their parents (newborns, infants, and toddlers (preschoolers)), but also women and their partners and families from preconception through pregnancy and postpartum, as long as the products and services are intended for their users.freeYou can join us at
