Conducted a demonstration experiment as part of the Yokohama City Startup Social Implementation Promotion Project
(Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Yohei Toyoda), a developer of various solutions to the problem of transporting children, will conduct a driving experiment of "håb," a shuttle operation system exclusively for children, as part of the Yokohama City Start-up Social Implementation Promotion Project.
What is håb?
With the growing number of dual-earners nationwide, handling the transportation of children to and from their lessons is having a significant impact on parents' working styles and daily lives. For example, the issue of career development due to shorter working hours, giving up on children's lessons due to lack of transportation, and other transportation issues can affect the quality of life of the entire family. Other serious issues for the community include accidents during pick-up and drop-off by bicycles and private cars, and traffic congestion problems around classrooms.
Our "håb" shuttle operation system for children is a next-generation transportation solution that allows children attending local schools to carpool to their destinations. It contributes to maximizing educational opportunities for children by generating flexible routes and operating vehicles according to customer demand for pick-up and drop-off services.
We are developing various applications and operation systems related to this shuttle operation. By utilizing our systems, we will build a childcare support ecosystem with various stakeholders such as local public transportation operators, lesson providers, NPOs, etc., and update the childcare environment in the entire community.
Test Run Summary
This driving experiment will be conducted as part of the Yokohama City Start-up Social Implementation Promotion Project. Through this experiment, we will verify the acceptability of the service among parents, transportation companies, and lesson providers in Yokohama City, as well as the UI/UX of the provided system, and utilize the results to improve the service.
Test Running Period March 1-15, 2023 Of which running time: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Request Acceptance Period February 1 - March 14, 2023

You can see the real-time location of the vehicle in which your child is riding on the MAP.

Function 1 Navigation function
This navigation function allows drivers to concentrate on driving without getting lost, even on a course they are driving for the first time.
Function 2: Boarding and alighting management function
Drivers equipped with functions to manage children getting on and off the bus, etc.
Function 3: Preventing leftovers in the car
This function completes the end of work by reading the QR on the rearmost seat at the end of the operation. Since it is necessary to go to the back of the seat, it is possible to prevent passengers from being left behind in the car.

It can manage passenger boarding and disembarking and membership management.

Various operation information, including boarding and alighting status and location information for all vehicles currently in operation, can be checked.
