When I was a child, I loved spending time with my mother reading picture books to me.
I became a mother myself, and I started reading picture books to my children.
Picture book reading time is an important time with the children.
I was very happy to participate in this project because I was able to create an original picture book.
Thoughts behind the picture book
I wondered what kind of picture book I should make, but I tried to depict a day in my daily life.
I put the feeling that there is warm happiness in everyday life.
I decided to write the time as well, hoping that by writing the time, my two or three year old (my child) would have a better sense of time.
Who and when would you like to read this book?
We imagined that children as young as two or three years old would read this book, but we would be happy if adults could also read it and feel the warmth of everyday life.

Background of your participation in the picture book production project
Painting pictures, arranging letters, and preserving forms are all things I love to do, so when I heard about this project, I immediately knew I wanted to do it.

In this talk, we considered "change".
I have loved drawing since I was a child, and I was the kind of kid who would doodle all the time, even during recess in elementary school.
Once, a teacher, amused by this, placed a blackboard in the corner of the classroom for graffiti.
I was very happy, but the pressure to draw and the criticism from my classmates who said I was biased gradually made it difficult for me to use that blackboard.
A small change in society affects not only me but also the people around me, and a change in the surroundings also comes back to me.
It didn't end well that time.
I think it was very regrettable because I still remember it.
By preparing and expressing to others about the changes in myself and my surroundings, I was inspired to think about the daily changes and my connection with others.
I hope it will be an opportunity for people to prepare themselves so that they will not be rushed at such times, because change comes to any person in life without warning.
