BabyTech TOUCH Exhibitor Spotlight
What is "Pokémon Smile"?
Editorial:Pokemon Smile" won the Excellence Award in the health management category of last year's BabyTech® Award 2020 powered by DNP Dai Nippon Printing, and I'm sure our readers are familiar with it, but can you give us an overview of the application once again?
Pokemon:Pokemon Smile" is a game application that allows users to catch Pokemon by brushing their teeth well within a time limit. It was developed with the aim of not only naturally getting children into the habit of brushing their teeth while playing a fun tooth brushing game with Pokemon, but also making tooth brushing a fun time and bringing smiles to the faces of parents and children.
It is free to download and there is no additional paid content or advertisements, so you can use it with your child with peace of mind.
Very popular with families with children who are just starting to brush their teeth at the exhibit.
Editorial: The BabyTech TOUCH exhibit was very well received by moms and dads who have children who have just started brushing their teeth on their own or who have children who hate brushing their teeth! Many of them downloaded the software on the spot at the venue and said, "I'll start brushing my teeth today!
Pokemon:We want everyone to play "Pokemon Smile," but we especially want small children, who have not yet developed the habit of brushing their teeth, to touch the game. We decided to exhibit at this event.
I am sure there are many people who have not yet heard of "Pokemon Smile," so I hope that as many people as possible will learn about it and that it will help children who have trouble brushing their teeth and their parents who have a hard time getting them into the habit of brushing their teeth.
Exhibit at BabyTech TOUCH. Children can simulate the experience by doing the tooth brushing pose even while wearing a mask, and there are children working hard at it. On weekends, novelties were distributed to those who experienced the experience on a first-come, first-served basis (now closed).
Editorial:I hope more of you will take this opportunity to try it. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer our questions.
Content helps children enjoy working on it and make it a habit by continuing to work on it.
As mentioned earlier, "Pokemon Smile" won the Excellence Award in the Health Management category at the BabyTech® Award Japan 2020 powered by DNP Dai Nippon Printing. The judges also commented that it was a wonderful application that truly captured the idea of how to make a difficult habit fun to work on and how to make it a habit by continuing to work on it.
It would be great for us parents who struggle with daily habits such as changing clothes, eating, bathing, shampooing, going to school, etc., to see more apps that help children develop positive habits through the power of content.
Pokemon Smile" is on display at BabyTech TOUCH at Akachan Honpo TOC in Gotanda, Tokyo until July 9, 2021. Please visit us.
