As the spread of the new coronavirus continues, daycare facilities that continue to protect the safety and security of small children as part of the social infrastructure are also experiencing the mental and physical fatigue of daycare workers and other on-site staff.

In such an environment, Unifa, which is working to reduce the burden on childcare facilities and to create a better family and society through the development of "Smart Nursery School®," Takumiba, a workshop that developed stretchable masks using stretch pants material from its main business, Sitateru, which is collaborating with 1,000 sewing factories and other companies mainly in Japan, and Nobel, a certified NPO that supports "balancing childcare and work" through childcare and temporary care, have joined forces to reduce the burden on childcare workers as much as possible. In light of the shortage of masks at childcare facilities, Nobel, a certified NPO that supports "balancing childcare and work" through childcare and temporary childcare, and in order to alleviate the burden on childcare workers as much as possible, together with Sitateru, which works with 1,000 sewing factories and other companies mainly in Japan, have launched the "Emergency Support: Project to Deliver Washable Masks to Childcare Workers at 2,000 Facilities in Japan". The project is designed to alleviate the burden on childcare workers by providing free masks for childcare workers.
