Benesse Corporation (Head Office: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Hitoshi Kobayashi; hereinafter "Benesse"), a leading provider of education and growth support services for preschoolers, released "Sansu Koukinkyoku Plus," a fun math game with the popular character Shimajiro on January 18, The new product was released on January 18, 2012.
Sansu Thinking Plus" automatically assigns questions from more than 8,000 questions in 17 different types according to the level of comprehension by the AI. With a curriculum that emphasizes thinking skills such as numbers, logic, and shapes, this application helps children learn the joy of thinking and the fundamentals of arithmetic. Designed to allow children to play intuitively on their own, with simple tap-and-move operation. Children can easily learn through their own trial and error on their tablets and smartphones.
Development Background
ICT-based education is expanding in elementary schools, with the distribution of one tablet per child and the introduction of mandatory programming. In addition, according to a survey, 40% of older children use tablets at least once a week*, and digital use is spreading among preschool families as well. Against this backdrop, Benesse will begin offering the tablet educational material "Kodomo Challenge Touch" in April 2022, based on its more than 30 years of knowledge in early childhood education and digital learning.
