Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • I would like to see more opportunities for both men and women to learn about the current maternity leave, childcare leave, and other systems provided by the government. I am currently working as a general manager, and I feel that many men are not at all interested in maternity leave, perhaps because only women can take it, and many women do not understand the system itself until they are involved in it. I feel that it is necessary to update the system in line with the times, but it is even more important to create an environment where people are aware of the system and want to know about it. (30s, female).
  • After having a child, there were many things that I learned for the first time and many things that made me feel small in relation to the environment. I felt that Japanese people, not only myself, have little knowledge about child-rearing and children. In order to create an environment where it is easy to raise children, I think that if opportunities to interact with children and education are incorporated from elementary and junior high school, a better social environment will be created for children and the child-rearing generation. (30s, female)
  • I want to create an environment where each child is respected and his/her individuality can grow in abundance. (30s, male)
  • It would be nice to have a system in place that allows people to focus on raising their children without the costs of basic education and medical care (40s, male).
  • To have a child-rearing environment that does not have a negative impact on the father's or mother's career or economic environment (30s, male).
  • I am currently raising an 8 month old. I have started weaning him and feel that he may have allergies...but I am still waiting to see how it goes because it would be too expensive to do allergy testing without narrowing down the list of possible foods. I would like to see that part of the program be free of charge, at least for infants and toddlers. (30 yrs old, female)
  • A society without war, a world where people can aim for healthy personal growth (20s, Male)
  • I believe that children should be raised by everyone, not only by parents and relatives, but ideally by society as a whole. (30s, male)
  • I would like to see a world where everyone is considerate of smoking and understanding of crying. I would like to see a system, environment, and understanding of the people around me so that children in institutions can grow up more in their own homes without abuse. (30s, female)
  • The ideal environment is one in which everyone can raise children together, as in the past, where neighbors are angry, loving, and watch over them. It is very regrettable that more and more people now think that children are a nuisance and noisy, and that the environment has become one in which children can only spend their free time in a fixed, confined space.
  • I believe that we must create a society in which children can have hope that their future is bright.
My generation unfortunately lives in an age where it does not seem so. Our generation is not responsible for creating such a society, but we are responsible for our children's future society. I believe that each of our generation should not leave it up to others to create the future society for our children. (30s, male)
  • The ideal society is one in which people of all ages have a positive image of "child-rearing. I think the first step is to create an environment in which children want to become parents and raise their children in the future. (40s, female)
