~To a childcare site where children, staff, and parents can feel at ease

(Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Keiichi Mori, President & CEO; hereinafter "Focus Systems") announces that it has concluded an agreement with the City of Yokohama and will participate in a demonstration experiment of an "ICT-based Child Watching Service.
This demonstration experiment is an effort to develop a service to prevent accidents such as children being left unattended during out-of-school activities at daycare centers, and will be conducted through "YOKOHAMA Hack!

In the demonstration experiment, the children will be transported on foot (or in a cart) from the school to the park, and the wearability and usability of the equipment will be verified during the children's activities, which will be utilized for product development and improvement. The test is expected to take about 1.5 to 2 hours, including travel time.
Four companies, including our company, will participate in this demonstration experiment, and each company will conduct a demonstration experiment of four products, each with a daycare center.

The demonstration experiment to be conducted by our company will use "Cotchi," an application for watching over children to prevent them from being left behind, which utilizes our IoT product, the BLE beacon "FCS1301.
Outline of "Cotchi
By simply attaching the FCS1301 to a child during a walk or other out-of-school activity at the daycare center and starting the application from a smartphone, the name of the separated child will be alerted when the child is over a certain distance from the caregiver, thereby preventing the child from being left behind.
