We will conduct a study that utilizes a large-scale language model for the "PairChill" talk app for single mothers and single fathers to enable single parents who work, raise children, and do household chores as a one-person operation and have little time to gather information to easily obtain the high-quality information they need.

What is ICT Startup League?

The "ICT Startup League" is a program initiated by Kadokawa ASCII Research Institute (Head Office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Noriko Kase) as an executing agency, based on the "Budding R&D Support Program for Startups" by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). This is a program in which the public and private sectors work together to provide the "support" and "competitive environment" necessary for startups to grow.

In the future, the Startup League aims to become a "league (organization)" that supports startups in various fields and continues to collaborate with many organizations and programs to produce world-class companies.

We believe that in order to be competitive in business, it is important to have the same professionalism as an athlete.

The Startup League believes that providing a place for competition in the course of providing support and continuing to support startups over the long term, rather than providing one-off support, will help them grow.

One of our visions is to create a future where future leaders aspire to become "start-up business players" just as children aspire to become athletes.

What is "Talk App for Single Mothers and Single Fathers: Pair Chill"?

Pair Chill" is a talk app that allows single parents in diverse circumstances from all over Japan to casually talk with each other.

In the five months since the app was released, it has surpassed 1,900 downloads and is being used by single parents in all 47 prefectures in Japan. (Similar apps have a total of 4,000 members in 1 year and 6 months of release)

It is very difficult to solve the problems and day-to-day matters of single-parent families in a one-person operation.

It is often difficult to empathize unless the circumstances and circumstances are similar.

We want to ease the burden on single parents and nurture even a single budding possibility for them to play an active role in society. It is with this in mind that we developed Pair Chill.

Development History of Pair Chill

The reason why Ms. Minami developed "Pair Chill" is because I myself was abused from the age of zero and grew up in a single-parent home.

In addition, when we were operating the child support guarantee service, we received applications from many single parents, and we were confronted with various problems of single parents, not limited to child support, such as the difficulty of raising children, the difficulty of handling childcare, housework, and work as a one-person operation, prejudice from others, and lack of social relationship capital such as government systems and people to consult with. The single parents faced a wide variety of problems.

Despite the existence of government systems and numerous single parent support groups, there is an information gap that prevents people from knowing about them, and we have heard many heartbreaking voices from single parents.

Having been selected for the "ICT Startup League," we will conduct research and development to make it easier and more meaningful to actively exchange information within the application than ever before.

Accelerated collaboration with sponsors will help PairChill grow

We will continue to develop PairTil for single parents. Not just as a talk app, but by developing services for single parents and businesses and non-profit organizations, we will assist in enriching the lives of single parents.

Currently, we are developing products and services for app members from companies in multiple genres, including a company offering web design courses exclusively for mothers, a company offering housekeeping and babysitting services, and a beauty clinic.

We will continue to collaborate with companies that develop products and services for households raising children and companies that want to support single parents.

We look forward to hearing from company representatives and media with whom we have an affinity.
