Stuffed Animals Talk! I tried using "Pechat," a button-type speaker! |With IT enthusiast mom Ogamari's baby tech!

Hello! I am Ogamari.
The Japanese archipelago is getting colder with a once-in-a-decade cold snap, how is everyone doing?
This time, we would like to introduce "Pechat," a speaker-type toy that may be perfect for playing warmly with children in their rooms!

What is Pechat?

PChatis a button-shaped Bluetooth speaker. It can be controlled from an app to play various lines and songs. When attached to a plush toy, it can be turned into a talking plush toy! This is a wonderful concept for a toy. Two models are currently available: the original model and a new model.
I had been curious about it for a while, but the other day I was wandering around a toy store and spotted the first model on sale at a reasonable price! I immediately took it to the cashier!

The packaging and product are cute~! The new model seems to be flat, but I really like this unevenness of the first model, which also gives it a button-like appearance.

Here it is attached to a stuffed animal. I think it is supposed to be used by hanging it through a cute string or sewing it on, but for now I attached it with a rubber band that was nearby (laughs). It doesn't bother me because it blends in with the hair on the animal's body, so no problem there!

Register Pechat's voice, first name, child's birthday and name in the app, and you are ready to chat!

Now it's time to let them chat!

I chose a line from the app and tapped it... and the stuffed animal spoke!
The moment my daughter heard her name coming from the stuffed animal, she turned to me, who was operating the app nearby, with a surprised look on her face (laughs). You can choose from a few predetermined lines, or you can enter your own lines that you want the doll to speak.

Just last night, I was having trouble getting my daughter to sleep and was looking at various apps to see if I could get some help from Pechat... and I found a collection of lines in the "bedtime routine" genre! I was surprised to find that it is also quite extensive!

Since he is still 0 years old, he may not understand the meaning of the line, but it is quite distracting and good for the parents to tap this line! An unexpected benefit of this...! I found myself mindlessly tapping like a sampler (laughs). Moms and dads who tend to get frustrated with putting their children to sleep who don't sleep well, why don't you give it a try?

The site is also quite rich in other contents, such as playing songs and stories, and having scenarios for the earliest age groups! If you sign up for the paid Pechat PLUS, you can also enjoy various quizzes and chats for ages 3 and up.

Also, if you use an application called "Pechat English," it seems that they will chat with you in English! Pechat can also be used for English education!

Mysterious life with stuffed animals for ages 0 and up

This time I didn't think too much about it and started using it on a stuffed animal I had in front of my child,

  • Presented with a new stuffed animal with a pechat!
  • The surprise is that the already existing stuffed animals suddenly start talking!
  • It would be interesting to attach it not only to stuffed animals but also to pictures, furniture, bedding, etc!

I felt that it could be used in many ways. It might be better to direct it as carefully as Santa's presence...!

Incidentally, the first model has specifications that may reveal the mechanism to children, such as activation by pressing a button on the main unit and a startup sound, but this has been cleared up in the new model, and the world view seems to have been further refined!

My daughter has become good friends with her talking toy. I thought it would be meaningless since she is still 0 years old and can't talk yet, but that was not the case! I would recommend this as a baby gift!

Child of the Week.

He is growing at a dizzying pace, with the eruption of his upper teeth following his lower teeth and his ability to sit on his own... His range of activities is expanding as he slides around, and we are constantly buying more and more baby gates...
