(headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Hidetoshi Hironaka, President; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates a business promoting male parental leave, has developed the "Trump Method" as a tool for assembling complex postnatal daddy leave.

In October 2022, the Child Care Leave Law was amended to establish the "Postpartum Father's Childcare Leave" program. This system allows men to take 4 times of maternity leave, making it a very customizable childcare leave system.
The key is to think of maternity leave in terms of weeks, not days. Since the postnatal paternity leave is also based on the weekly count as a maternity leave system, the entire maternity leave is also constructed on the basis of 52 weeks, one year until the child turns one year old.
A year is 52 weeks and a playing card is 52 cards, except for JOKER, so you have 52 weeks of cards for a year until your child turns 1 year old.
We have developed the Trump Method, a simulation tool for assembling these 52 cards.

Typical Template for Postpartum Papa Maternity Leave
Postpartum paternity leave is easier to assemble if it is based on a template to some extent rather than assembling it from scratch, so we have published a template of three typical patterns.

  1. Full-utilization type
  2. baton-touch type
  3. all-out type
