It was interesting to see how this could happen, so here it is. The original story is here.

Austrian startup Swell is an app based on the concept of "throwing small daily decisions at people to help them decide.
- Upload two images.
- Make a question sentence (udon/soba? /Which hat do you prefer? or "Which hat do you prefer?)
- You will get a response in seconds.
- You can respond to the MySwell feeds that you follow as they come in.
The above is a story about how the overall number of users increased when a native application was built and released as a Facebook Messenger application. However, it says that the "user follow function," "notifications," and "trend analysis" were difficult points to overcome because they were all on FB's infrastructure.
They say that 40% of new users come through feeds and referrals from other Swell users, and at that stage, they have not used the app or chatbot or anything else. In terms of conversion, "information transmission shared on social networking sites by Chatbot" is higher than "invitation DMs from existing users".
There is always a danger of a straw effect when you get on a platform somewhere. When transportation networks to and from large cities become more convenient, it means that rural populations and capital will be sucked into the big cities. As for the question of whether a local city called Native App getting on the platform of a big city like FB will ultimately hasten its death...,
Now, will we kill our app? Well, time and KPIs will tell...
I'm glad to hear from you.
