I understand! We can talk! You can try! Baby Tech Community Open

We are looking for community members who are interested in utilizing BabyTech, which is evolving rapidly and creating diverse services, as something close to home!

What is the BabyTech Community?

This community is primarily for parents with children aged 0-6 years old, as well as pre-parents and pre-moms who are expecting a baby and want to actively use technology such as gadgets, apps, and appliances in their child-rearing.

We can see how you approach your parenting concerns (especially gadgets, apps, tools, etc.).
If you have an app, device or gadget that you are interested in, please join our community.
Let's enjoy raising children while sharing information together.

The community also hosts events with companies that provide BabyTech services and people who are very knowledgeable about BabyTech.

What do you do?

This community utilizes a communication tool called Slack, and members talk with each other in different channels such as "Home Appliances: Furniture," "Outings," "Health," and "Fun and Learning. Events are also held on an irregular basis, and there are opportunities to have actual conversations using ZOOM. From there, requests to try out gadgets and interviews with people who have used them are sometimes developed.
We also judge the BabyTech Award JAPAN and plan events with tool and application developers.
(An online event will also be held to provide an on-the-spot look at CES 2022 in Las Vegas next January.)

He lives with his wife and children.
I had little prior knowledge of BabyTech and had only a vague idea of how I could incorporate it into my life in terms of balancing work and sharing information with my husband and wife. I had no prior knowledge of BabyTech.
Since joining, I have found it interesting and informative just to look at the information (not just tech-related, but also food, fun, etc.) that everyone uploads on the slack channel regarding child-rearing. We are also actively participating in the BabyTech trial services that are sometimes advertised. It is an opportunity for me and my wife to be impressed by the latest technology and to create good memories with our children.
You offer a variety of opportunities and I enjoy participating in them in my own time. Thank you for everything!

After three months of participating in the BabyTech community, I have eclipsed the joy of being part of a fun community and feel a real sense that there are other parents who are struggling to raise their children, and I feel reassured by this community that we can do our best together.
As for my motivation for participating, I leave casual articles on my notebook, and I have been writing about child-rearing as a source of inspiration for me. I think it all started when Yukie Takahashi, a.k.a. sachi, introduced me to the "Papa Power Test," a quiz on child-rearing. While I was having fun and gaining knowledge about child-rearing through the Papa Power Test, I got involved with BabyTech.jp, which I was managing, and was introduced to this community by Mr. Nagata, a representative of Papa Smile Co.
The reason I love this community is that I am the first to get information about new appliances, gadgets, and tools for playing and learning. As a parent, I also appreciate the fact that I can easily discuss any problems I may have with childcare.

I wondered, "What kind of useful items are there for child-rearing?" I participated with such a light heart. What I am glad that I participated was that I thought that child-rearing could be more fun and easier.

When a member mentions a problem he or she is having, everyone says, "We have something like this! How about this? We can also hear the real opinions from the user's point of view, such as innovations and weak points in actual usage situations. In addition, you can hear the real opinions from the users' point of view, such as their innovations and weak points in actual use, so you can get a lot of wisdom that you can't get from word of mouth on the Internet. I have used a few of these myself, and they continue to change my life and child-rearing dramatically.

I am also very comfortable with the overall loose atmosphere. Sometimes I just read what the members are talking about when they are busy, and other times I join in the conversation if the topic interests me. It's a loose, but informative and fun community with a wide variety of members, including both parents and those who create and use the service!
