Moon Creative Lab ("Moon"), which creates new businesses from the ideas of more than 44,000 employees and organizations worldwide, has partnered with Pigeon Corporation ("Pigeon") to offer Lullaby, an app that helps infants cry at night and sleep through the night, ("Moon"), a global organization that creates new businesses based on the ideas of its employees, has partnered with Pigeon Corporation ("Pigeon") to develop a new app called "Lullaby" that supports infants' crying at night and tucking in. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Pigeon") to jointly explore the development of products and services to solve sleep-related problems during pregnancy and child-rearing, utilizing Moon's "Lullaby" application, which supports infant nighttime crying and sleep training.
Sleep problems during pregnancy and child-rearing
While sleep is important for the healthy growth of infants, it is also one of the major concerns of parents. According to a survey, 70% of mothers with children under 3 years old report feeling stressed about putting their children to sleep, and 60% have trouble putting them to sleep(*1). In addition, life with a baby begins immediately after birth, with frequent feedings day and night, not to mention diaper changes and other care, and mothers in particular are prone to sleep deprivation. A survey conducted by Pigeon in June 2022 (*2) revealed that 51% of nursing mothers between 0 and 5 months of age have trouble sleeping while breastfeeding.
Aim of joint development
Launched in April 2021, "Lullaby" is based on the concept of "Sleep Training," which is popular in Europe and the U.S. It provides basic sleep knowledge based on the baby's age, suggests a personalized bedtime schedule, and offers a C2C platform for matching "sleep consultation" with a pediatric sleep specialist. Moon and Pigeon will use "Lullaby" and combine it with Pigeon's accumulated knowledge about babies and moms and dads to provide a new service that supports infant sleep and sleep training. Moon and Pigeon will work together to provide more essential solutions to the issues of baby sleep training and sleep deprivation for mothers and fathers by utilizing "Lullaby" and combining it with Pigeon's accumulated knowledge of babies and mothers.

What is Lullaby?
Lullaby", one of the projects incubated by Moon Creative Lab, is an app service to support infants' night crying and sleep training, based on the idea of "Sleep Training".
