Woobo, a smart plush toy that expresses emotions and teaches lifestyle habits by cuddling with infants #CES2019

Woobo, a smart plush toy, is the winner of the 2019 Babytech Award: play&learn category. Woobo has various sensors, microphones in its ears, and an LCD monitor on its face, and responds to physical input such as touching, stroking, and tapping, as well as voice responses when spoken to by the child. The first is that Woobo itself is programmed with emotions and will express these feelings during interactions with the child. The second is that Woobo encourages the child to eat, brush his/her teeth, go to bed, etc., and helps the child develop daily habits by working together with Woobo.

He hopes that woobo will tickle children's curiosity.

Since this was still a demo model, it could express only three kinds of emotions (normal, happy, and sad), but the company is planning to update it in the future and is opening it up to third parties so that they can install other educational applications in the form of a store in addition to lifestyle applications.

Although it still feels like a work in progress, it has already been successfully deployed on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, indicating that there are high expectations for the product.
