2. the effectiveness of the return documentation training

Participants found it effective in reducing documentation time and ongoing implementation.

Based on the results of the pre-training questionnaire and the post-training questionnaire at the end of the fourth course, here are some of the changes that were observed through the training.

▼ Summary of Survey Results

  1. Ninety-eight percent of the participants said that they "feel that they understand children's feelings" through this training. This shows the effectiveness of documentation as a means of capturing the child's image.
  2. Ninety percent of participants indicated that they were able to continue documentation after the training.
  3. While many facilities feel that documentation is time-consuming, this training also showed a change in documentation time, with 50% of participants responding 30 minutes or less before the training, but this number increased 1.3 times to 65% after the training. The percentage of participants who answered "within 60 minutes" and "within 120 minutes" decreased before and after the training, respectively, indicating that participants were able to create documentation in a shorter time through the training.

▼ Participant Comments

  • Documentation training, very fulfilling training. I have seen changes in the way I perceive children's behavior and my own attitude in childcare. I will take pictures, record them, share them, and create better childcare.
  • At first, I thought documentation was difficult, but after receiving the training and actually doing it, I found out how to make it easier for me, and I was able to read children's images more smoothly, and I felt that there were more occasions for discussion among the staff.
  • I realized once again that the perspective from which we view children as a whole can be changed by providing opportunities for staff members to discuss and share their work, rather than stopping at the individual documentation, planning, practice, and review of the next stage of childcare.
  • I can now quickly assemble documentation in my mind!
