Began introducing as part of a project to reduce the financial burden related to fertility and infertility treatment.

With the vision of "creating a society where everyone who wishes to have a child can lead a happy life," we have launched "famione," a pregnancy concierge service that utilizes LINE. https://lp.famione.com/ (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Yusuke Ishikawa, President; hereinafter referred to as "Fami One"), a provider of insurance products and services, will begin introducing Dai-ichi Life's "Fami One Income Protection Insurance" from September 27, 2021, in collaboration with Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited (Seiji Inagaki, President; hereinafter referred to as "Dai-ichi Life").
By introducing "Fami-One Income Security Insurance," we support pregnant women to prepare for a loss of income in the event that they are unable to work due to illness or injury.

Background of Collaboration

Currently, one out of every six couples is engaged in fertility management, and approximately one in 16 babies is born through in vitro fertilization. While many couples are engaged in fertility management, there are many cases in which they are unable to talk to anyone about their pregnancy, and many couples suffer from anxiety and stress alone, and have trouble communicating with each other.

According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, approximately 16%, or one out of every four respondents, resigned because they were unable to balance work and infertility treatment. When the responses of those who not only resigned but also changed their employment status or interrupted their infertility treatment are totaled, the result is that as many as 35% of respondents were unable to balance work and infertility treatment.

However, both full-time employees and freelancers alike are concerned about the sudden loss of income if they are hospitalized due to an unexpected medical condition during the course of their fertility treatment.

For Fami One, this collaboration is part of a long-term project to provide support to those who are engaged in fertility management.
