BabyTech TOUCH Exhibitor Spotlight

BabyTech TOUCH, an event where visitors can directly see and touch baby tech products and services to find a partner for their childcare needs, has been held jointly by DNP Dai Nippon Printing, Akachan Honpo, and Papa Smile since June 10, 2021. Among the approximately 20 products and services exhibited at the event, we would like to introduce "BabySense Home," a non-contact body movement sensor that monitors the body movements of infants, provided by BabySense Japan, LLC ("BabySense"), in an interview format.

What is "Baby Sense Home"?

Baby Sense:BabySense Home monitors the baby's slightest movements (body movements) during sleep by detecting them with a highly sensitive sensor panel. An alarm alerts you when body movements stop for 20 seconds or occur less than 10 times per minute.
Products utilizing BabySense technology have been installed in medical and childcare facilities in Japan for 23 years to date, with a cumulative total of more than 100,000 units installed, making us No. 1 in Japan. We are proud to say that our products have received a stable reputation over a long period of time and are very reliable.
It can be installed in a crib or on a futon, and is designed for easy operation with only the power button ON/OFF, and the sensor panel and other devices never come in direct contact with the baby.

This is the first attempt to sell products to the general public. BabyTech TOUCH is also the first time to exhibit actual equipment!

Editorial:I understand that BabySense has never been sold to the general public before.

Baby Sense:The original BabySense was an advanced medical device and could not be sold to the general public. It was a product to be used on a rental basis under the guidance of a physician. With the COVID-19 disaster that began last year, we created "BabySense Home" as a general medical device in order to provide an affordable infant monitoring sensor that can provide peace of mind to the general public at home. Therefore, this is our company's first attempt at a product for sale to the general public.
This participation in BabyTech TOUCH is also our first effort as an exhibition in a real store.
We hope that this exhibit will make everyone more aware of this simple, proven, and reliable functioning sleep monitoring product.

At the BabyTech TOUCH exhibition, we received a great deal of interest, especially from maternity mothers and fathers. Some said that the set of two sensors would give them peace of mind because the sensors cover a wide area, even if they turn over in their sleep or their sleeping patterns become worse as their legs become stronger,
A mom and dad with a 3-month-old said, "Oh, isn't that the one from the hospital?"
We also heard that they are relieved that something they have already used at a medical institution can be used at home as well. The fact that the product has a proven track record at medical institutions has led to this kind of response.
