Free tips to enhance playtime at home during Golden Week, when you can spend more time with your family

With the continuing impact of the new coronavirus, many families are refraining from traveling or returning home during this year's Golden Week holidays, and with the third state of emergency declared in Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto prefectures, children are expected to be unable to play outside. Families with children have voiced their desire for more opportunities for their children to be physically active and to get out of the rut of playing at home.

In response to this situation, Bonelund will hold "3DAYS PLAYFUL LIVE" to suggest tips to make playtime at home more fun during the holidays. This content can be viewed free of charge by anyone on the official Bonelund Instagram (Instalive), and archived videos will be available later on the official Bonelund YouTube channel.

The program consists of four categories: "Body Play," "Rhythm Play," "Craft," and "Learning." It is an approximately 30-minute program that will change the usual playtime with a little ingenuity. Play Leaders, professional playtime proposers who work at our playground facilities, will give lectures for children aged 3 to 5 on various physical movements and play activities that can be done at home to draw out their senses.

About Bonelund

Established in 1981 to contribute to the healthy growth of children through play, Bonelund has consistently been in the business of providing "playthings and environments". The company proposes "playthings" as daily life tools necessary for children's growth to ordinary households, and operates 73 stores nationwide. At the same time, we develop play environments for kindergartens, nursery schools, and parks, including the provision of high-quality large playground equipment and educational tools, and to date we have worked with approximately 35,000 locations in Japan. In 2004, the company launched the "KIDOKIDO" indoor playground business, where parents and children can experience a variety of play activities together, in order to increase opportunities for children to play. Including indoor playgrounds operated by local governments that incorporate Ki-Dokido's know-how, there are approximately 30 locations nationwide that are visited by more than 3.5 million parents and children each year.
