(headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Nana Aizawa, President & CEO; hereinafter referred to as "iiba"), in cooperation with Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture, announces the start of the "Tomiya City Childcare Map Digitalization Demonstration Experiment," a demonstration project aimed at enhancing local childcare support and stimulating the local economy.
Background and Objectives
As Tomiya City promotes the creation of an environment conducive to child-rearing, raising awareness of local businesses and promoting circulation within the city are important issues.
The objective of this demonstration experiment is to create an environment in which households raising children can use stores and facilities in the city more easily by utilizing digital measures that link our word-of-mouth information with maps.
Specifically, POPs with QR codes will be installed to promote information browsing and word-of-mouth posting by households with children, thereby revitalizing circulation within the city.
Main contents of the demonstration experiment
POP with iiba's original QR code will be installed in child-rearing household-friendly stores and facilities in Tomiya City (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, lessons, commercial facilities, etc.).
By scanning the QR code, you can experience the following
- Submit a review to the store
- Identification of information related to childcare in the vicinity
- Share recommended spots
By linking word of mouth with maps, we aim to create an environment in which households raising children can easily and intuitively choose where to go, thereby revitalizing circulation within the city and contributing to greater convenience for households raising children and the revitalization of the entire community.
Expected Effects
(i) Effects on the local economy
- Promoting store visits and city circulation through word-of-mouth postings
- Visualization of stores friendly to households with children
- Increase recognition of each store and obtain word-of-mouth through the installation of QR codes
(2) Improvement of convenience for citizens
- Accumulation of word-of-mouth information makes it easy to obtain realistic child-rearing information
- Providing the convenience of intuitively selecting a destination on the go with the Maps app
(iii) Improved efficiency of information management and operation
- Centralized management of event and facility information via application
- Efficient information sharing and communication with businesses
4) Improvement of measures through data utilization
- Understand the distribution of popular spots and travel data of households raising children
- Analyze the needs of households raising children based on word-of-mouth content
- These data will be used to create a more comfortable environment for households raising children.
