GovTech Tokyo is working with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to provide a "one-stop service for childcare activities" that enables parents to gather information on childcare facilities, make reservations for tours, and apply for admission to childcare facilities online, one stop at a time, via smartphone or other devices.
We are pleased to announce that effective today, the number of eligible childcare facilities will be expanded from 1,070 to 1,276 in 19 municipalities in Tokyo.
Municipalities eligible for one-stop service for childcare (19 municipalities)
Minato, Koto, Shibuya, Suginami, Itabashi, Adachi, Edogawa, Hachioji, Ome, Akishima, Chofu, Machida, Hino, Komae, Higashiyamato, Kiyose, Musashimurayama, Tama, Nishitokyo
The 15 municipalities marked with ** are those that will expand the number of eligible childcare facilities.
What is the One-Stop Service for Childcare?
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and GovTech Tokyo provide an online, one-stop service that allows parents to gather information on childcare facilities, make reservations for tours, and apply for admission via smartphones and other devices. This service reduces the time and effort required to gather information on childcare facilities and make reservations for visits, thereby easing the burden on parents.

- Gather the latest information related to childcare services.
- You can apply online for an appointment to visit a childcare facility.
- Smooth transition to the local government's childcare facility admission application page.
(2) Method of use
