We received many photos from companies and organizations!

This project, "Dads on Childcare Leave with Kids," was made possible by AERA with Kids' endorsement of Sekisui House's IKUKYU. PJT" by Sekisui House. The environment surrounding childrearing has changed over the years, and it is now commonplace for both fathers and mothers to be involved in childrearing. According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in fiscal 2024, the percentage of men working for companies who took childcare leave reached 40.5%, a record high. On the other hand, there are differences in the way male employees take childcare leave among companies, and even in companies where childcare leave is being taken, fathers face difficulties in raising their children and in balancing work and childcare.
