(Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshito Yamaguchi), a company that uses cutting-edge analysis of customer feedback to increase the number of fans, regularly conducts consumer awareness surveys among "FANCURU" members. This time, 631 "Funkuru" members (134 males and 497 females) were surveyed about the frequency of EC purchases of baby consumables such as diapers and milk, and the items they frequently purchase.
More than half of the respondents, 65%, use e-commerce sites to purchase baby consumables such as diapers, baby formula, and baby food. By age group, 72% of those in their 30s regularly purchase baby consumables on e-commerce sites. The most common reason for using e-commerce sites was "to save time and effort in going to the store" at 79%, followed by "to earn points" at 61% and "because it is difficult to carry back from the store" at 59%. Diapers were the most frequently purchased item on EC sites at 81%, followed by wipes at 49%.
