Haier Japan Sales K.K. (Head office: Osaka, Japan; President: Jingguo Du) will release two models of the MIZUKI nu-no fabric rinsing vacuum cleaner, a hot water steam model (JC-RPS1A) and a standard model (JC-RP1A), on September 9, 2025 (Tuesday), at home appliance stores, home centers, GMS, and web stores nationwide. The two models will go on sale sequentially at electronics retailers, home centers, GMS, and web-based retailers nationwide from September 9, 2025 (Tuesday).
Background of Planning and Launch
Based on customer feedback, we have developed a variety of products tailored to the needs of single-person households, small families, and dual-income households.
The "MIZUKI," a suction-type floor cleaner launched in 2023 that performs the three functions of wiping with water, wiping dry, and suction in a single machine, was developed to meet the needs of customers who were concerned about sticky or rough surfaces when walking barefoot, wanted to easily clean grease, sand, and pollen, wanted to wipe with water but found it too hard on their feet and back, or felt tired of wiping with water because it requires a lot of force. The product was developed in response to customer needs, such as "I want to clean oil stains, sand, and pollen easily," "I want to wipe with water, but it is too hard on my legs and back," and "I am tired of wiping with water because it requires a lot of strength.
MIZUKI nu-no" is a cloth washing vacuum cleaner that washes non-washable cloth products with water, and was created as the second product in the MIZUKI series of water-based vacuum cleaners. The concept of this vacuum cleaner was developed based on the many requests from customers who wanted to wash their everyday cloth products. The concept behind the development of this product was "Let's wash more cloths. It is a new rinse cleaner that makes it easy to care for fabric products such as sofas, car seats, carpets, and strollers, which are difficult to remove and carry, and which we have given up washing because they do not fit in the washing machine.
Brushes scrape off dirt floated by water and powerfully clean with suction power of up to 15,000 Pa.
The product sprays water filled in the tank through the nozzle to lift dirt soaked in fabrics. The brush then picks up the lifted dirt, and by suction at a force of up to 15,000 Pa, the product thoroughly cleans fabrics that have been difficult to wash, such as sofas, carpets, strollers, and car seats, from the surface to the depths of the fibers.
Three temperature modes to choose from depending on dirt and application
The cleaning method can be selected from three different temperatures according to the dirt and cleaning needs.
water mode
It cleans water-soluble stains that dissolve easily in water at room temperature. It is effective for beverages such as orange juice, coffee, soy sauce, and other liquid seasonings, eggs and pet urine that should not be heated, as well as for mite inhalation.
Hot water 60°C mode
Water at room temperature is heated to 60°C by a heater inside the main unit. The water is heated to 60°C by a heater inside the main unit to clean oil-soluble stains that are difficult to remove at room temperature. (JC-RPS1A)
Steam 100°C mode
Water at room temperature is heated to 100°C by a heater inside the main unit. High-temperature steam is discharged from the nozzle. It deodorizes about 99%*1 of odors from cigarettes, food, pet urine, etc. It has also been confirmed to kill about 99% of mites*2 (JC-RPS1A). In addition, it has been confirmed to be about 99% effective in killing mites*2 (JC-RPS1A).
The included "standard brush" and "wide brush" can be used in different ways depending on the application. The Standard Brush is suctioned to firmly scrub away dirt hidden deep in the fibers of sofas and carpets. The wide brush is suitable for cleaning glass surfaces and wide areas of fabrics for more efficient cleaning.
Recommended detergent for stubborn stains to increase cleaning power
If the stains are severe, it is recommended to spray detergent in a spray bottle to lift the stains before use for better results.
Happy Elephant Foam Multi-Cleaner, a detergent collaborated with SARAYA Corporation, is a recommended detergent for this machine that further enhances the cleaning power of MIZUKI nu-no. While 100% food ingredients, it combines cleaning power and safety, and is gentle on hands and skin.

Clean maintenance by washing with water
A hose cleaning nozzle is employed to clean the inside of the hose, which easily gets dirty, with clean water. The compact design of the main unit allows it to be stored neatly in a room cabinet or closet, making it easy to use and store.
