Popular features of the Web version are now available in the app version of "NAVITIME". Enhanced route search by travel scene

(President and Representative Director: Keisuke Onishi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will start offering "NAVITIME for Baby" on its comprehensive navigation application "NAVITIME" from August 13, 2025 (Wednesday).
NAVITIME for Baby" was launched in March 2021 as a function of the web version of "NAVITIME. This web service provides total support for traveling with babies and children. When searching for a route, it suggests a recommended route according to the child's means of transportation, such as "stroller," "baby carriage," or "walking together. You can also search for nursing rooms and diaper changing places around your outing, and check travel time and walking routes from your current location.
Since its launch, the service has been highly acclaimed as a useful service for transportation with children, winning the "Good Design Best 100" and "BabyTech® Award Japan 2021" grand prizes, as well as the "15th Kids Design Award Incentive Prize.
On the other hand, there were many requests from users, such as "I would like to be able to use the app because it is time-consuming to access the web and log in every time," "I would like to have indoor route suggestions on rainy days," "It is difficult to find the entrance to the elevator," "When using a baby stroller, I would like to have a function to guide me to the car closest to the elevator. We received many comments such as "I would like to have a function that guides me to the car closest to the elevator when I am using a stroller.
In light of these factors, we have decided to launch an application version of our navigation system that offers even higher functionality by combining the convenient functions of the Web version with those of "NAVITIME" while retaining the same features.
The "NAVITIME for Baby" application version of "NAVITIME" allows users to search for routes and nursing rooms and diaper changing spots for children, as well as use voice navigation, in the same way as the Web version. In addition, more detailed guidance will be available, such as searching for routes using only elevators, transfer guidance for vehicles near elevators, indoor routes and routes using elevators that access indoor areas, and congestion information by vehicle.
We hope to alleviate all kinds of anxieties of the childcare generation during transportation and support more secure and comfortable trips.
Navitime Japan will continue to develop technologies and improve services so that everyone can move comfortably and safely in all situations.

Route search for children's mobility
When searching for a route, you can select your child's mode of transportation from "stroller," "baby carriage," or "walking together," and recommended route search conditions for each mode of transportation are automatically set.
Find a nursing room or diaper changing spot
You can also search for nursing rooms and diaper changing places around your outing. You can search on the map for the location of diaper changing spaces near the departure station, transfer station, arrival station, and also near stations along the way during your trip.
NAVITIME
We guide you on door-to-door routes combining various means of transportation such as walking, trains, buses, bicycles, airplanes, and cars (cabs). It is a total navigation service that supports the most appropriate transportation for that day, that time, and that person.
