Enuma Japan G.K. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Executive Director: Suyin Lee; hereinafter "Enuma Japan") is pleased to announce that trial use of the "Todo Sansu" math application has begun at the Kamoto Inada Special Needs School in Kumamoto Prefecture. This is the first case in Japan* of trial use at a special needs school.

Todo Sansu" is a home learning application designed to help children learn math in a fun and independent way. Enuma Japan has licensed the app for a total of 97 students in the elementary, middle, and high schools of the school.

Enuma Japan is also currently seeking model schools that are willing to cooperate in the trial introduction of the "Class Mode" service for educational institutions of "Todo Sansu".

Why "Todo Sansu" is chosen for special needs education?

A variety of fun, repeatable activities
Children can learn a single concept repeatedly through various activities in the app, making repetitive learning painless and allowing children to enjoy and become familiar with math.

Designed to encourage self-directed learning
The intuitive, visually easy-to-understand, and small-step progression from basics to applications allows children to learn independently and without strain. Unlike conventional "teach me" style classes, "Todo Sansu" encourages children to learn spontaneously.

Universal design that is child-friendly for all children: ● Universal design that is child-friendly for all children: ● Universal design that is child-friendly for all children
The "left-handed mode," "keypad mode," "help button," and other features that address a variety of learning needs make the design easy for all children to use.

Teachers at Kumamoto Prefectural Kamoto Inada Support School, the first school in Japan to use "Steller's sea lion" on a trial basis, gave the following high evaluations of "Steller's sea lion".

  • I liked that it didn't require any preparation and could be used right away according to the realities of my students."
  • The game-like learning is very motivating for children! I appreciate the application. The wrong answers are automatically rejected, so there is less of a 'wrong answer' feeling, and even children who don't like to make mistakes were able to work with it."
  • The students are eager to use 'Todo Sansu' even during lunch break, which has increased their own opportunities for self-motivated learning."

Recruitment of "Class Mode" model schools for the educational field is now underway.

Enuma Japan is currently seeking model schools that are willing to cooperate in the trial of "Class Mode," a service for educational institutions using TodoSansu. The "Class Mode" will enable teachers to manage the progress and learning histories of multiple students at once, thereby reducing the workload of teachers. In addition, "Class Mode" is open to both public and private applicants, mainly special-needs schools and elementary schools with special needs. Educational institutions participating as model schools will be provided with "Todo Sansu" free of charge with an unlimited number of licenses until the end of fiscal year 2025. For educational institutions that would like to try it out first, licenses for teachers are also available.

Please refrain from contacting Kumamoto Prefectural Kamoto Inada Support School directly regarding this release.
