With Midwife, Inc. (Location: Osaka, Osaka; CEO: Seigetsu Kishibata) will launch a new online parents' class "OYA WORK" for those who become parents while working. The kick-off event will be held online (Zoom) on July 27, 2025 (Sunday) at 7:00 p.m. on "Oyako Day".

In response to the demand for a system that supports parents not only after the birth of their child, but also through "becoming a parent while working," With Midwife, Inc. is launching a new online parents' class "OYA WORK" based on its experience in supporting more than 2,500 families. As the first step, a kick-off event will be held on July 27 (Oyako Day). The theme of the event was "Becoming a parent meant changing the way we work." The theme of the event will deliver knowledge and a place for dialogue to confront the realities of parenthood.

Online parents' classes have been conducted by us for more than 5 years so far, following the suspension of parents' classes in all municipalities and hospitals due to the Corona Disaster. Now that the pandemic is under control, we have launched a new community-based parents' class, "Working Parents", which focuses on "working parents".OYA WORKIt will be reborn as a

Why With Midwife does "OYA WORK"?
With Midwife has been providing THE CARE, a companion employee support service for health and childcare for companies since its inception in 2019, and has supported the health, career, and childcare challenges of working people, particularly at major companies such as ITOCHU Corporation and Rohto Pharmaceuticals.

In addition, we have been offering free online parenting classes for more than five years, with a cumulative total of more than 2,500 couples participating.

As a midwife, I have met many parents and children and have been exposed to "issues that can be saved before medical care" such as abortion, postpartum depression, and isolated parenting as well as balancing parenting.
OYA WORK is born to solve such issues.
This time, OYA WORK will offer initiatives not only after pregnancy, but also for future parents who are preparing to welcome a new life. Specifically, it includes balancing infertility treatment and work, as well as pregnancy and preconception care that can be started while working.
By creating a place where both current and future parents can realistically share both the difficulties and joys of becoming parents while working, we aim to create a society where each person can lead their own life without isolation.
