Purpose of the Project
Sleep deprivation and childcare stress caused by babies crying at night are the cause of serious problems in the home. Sometimes, sad cases of abuse of babies who cry uncontrollably have been reported, and this is a social issue that should not be overlooked.
While the number of dual-earner families has been increasing in recent years, there are many who say that they cannot return to work because of crying at night or that they have given up on having a second child.
This product, "Nerare", aims to alleviate the problem of "night crying", which is a problem for more than half of the parents in the world, and to provide a healthy childcare environment where babies and their families can sleep peacefully.
By reducing the physical and mental burden of childcare, the program also aims to support dual-earner households and families seeking to return to work after childbirth, thereby helping to counteract the declining birthrate.

Sankyo Co., Ltd. has developed the "Nerare," a childcare support product with a structure that gently swings up and down, for use in homes, childcare facilities, and accommodations where babies cry at night, and is now being rolled out nationwide. After 20 years of trial and error since its development, "Nerare" has been improved through safety and effectiveness verification with the cooperation of Toyama Prefectural University and Kanazawa National University. Since its development, "Nerale" has attracted attention from NHK, TV Tokyo, Nikkei Newspaper, and many other media, but it was not commercialized because it was not patented at that time.
By reproducing the shaking and sounds of a baby in its mother's womb, this product can stop crying at night in just a few seconds. 90% has actually stopped crying in more than 6T babies, and has been introduced not only to homes but also to obstetrics and gynecology departments. In the future, we plan to introduce the system to postnatal care clinics, public facilities, hotels, and other facilities.
On the technical side, the structural design combines safety and effectiveness, based on a patent for a vertical oscillating structure. The thorough safety design makes it safe to use even for families with small children and their siblings.
It reduces the burden on parents at bedtime and is ideal for families with two working parents or those who plan to return to work after childbirth.
